Support the Miracle Mile

Thousands of cars drive up and down Stockton's Miracle Mile every day. As they glance at the light posts they see the colorful Miracle Mile banners hanging from many of them. During the holiday season most of the banners are replaced with specialty banners celebrating Christmas.

In order to make better use of the banners and to eliminate supporting one holiday over another, the board of the MMIA is proposing that we offer these banners to better promote the businesses on The Mile. Each banner would include the new Miracle Mile logo (still in the design stages), the logo or name of the business, and its business type.

There are currently 35 banners available on a first come first serve basis. Once they're taken they wil only come available again at the end of the each merchant's contract.

The signage and marketing committees are proposing that merchants be offered one, two or three year contracts for the banners. The price would remain the same for the term of the contract.

The next board meeting of the MMIA will be on Wednesday, July 6, 2005, at The Valley Brewing Company's Banquet Room. Meetings usually start around 7:30 am and end by 9:00 am.
