The Miracle Mile Farmers’ Market is now closed for the 2008 season. We appreciate your support and look forward to seeing you at upcoming events on the Mile.
Join us tonight on the Mile for the strolling serenade of Tune Struck, a Quartet ringing with Barbershop Harmony.
5 Great Reasons
to buy from the Farmers’ Market
Local food just tastes better, is fresher, more nutritious, and is good for the local economy. Buying directly from our area family farmers helps keep them in business. Everything in the market is either grown or made by the seller.
Local produce is better for you and tastes better (This produce was just picked so it’s still flavorful)
Local food supports local farm families
(Local farmers can cut out retail so they can afford to stay on the farm)
Local food protects genetic diversity
(Save our heirlooms, our edible heritage)
Local food preserves open space and supports clean environment
(Direct-marketing fruits and vegetables helps deter selling farmland)
Local food is about the future
(Ensure that there will be farms in our community tomorrow)
And for those of you who want fresh tasting but already prepared meals, enjoy the culinary delights on The Miracle Mile Restaurant Row.

Request for Merchant participation:
Display Booths: We have reserved three (3) booths for Mile vendor displays/food tastings. For example, Peter Luhn from Cibo di Vino has agreed to demonstrate pizza tossing (yes, just the dough!) and Zee Tawasha of Verizon will have his Segway scooters in use. If you are interested in displaying some of your business items, please contact me via email or on 948-6453 to arrange/discuss. We have 22 dates, so if you have a select Wednesday in mind for your display, please indicate so.
Wednesday Promotions: Please consider initiating a “Wednesday promotion” to augment the Market and attract customers from the Market to your business. Please try to include a tracking mechanism so we can determine the return (coupons, etc.). If you do so, please let me know what your promotion is as we plan to have a Mile brochure highlighting Mile merchants for all Market attendees.
We are looking to have a monthly “Themed’ event geared around businesses on the Mile, such as Home and Garden Day, Bridal Showcase, Real Estate, Restaurants’ Taste of the Mile, etc. If you are interested in participating in a themed event or have ideas you’d like to share, please let me know.
